Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the TreeID mobile application ("App") operated by MapleByte ("we", "our", or "us").
By downloading, installing, or using TreeID, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
TreeID is an AI-powered tree identification application that allows users to photograph trees and receive identification results including species name, scientific classification, care tips, and other botanical information. The App is provided for educational and informational purposes.
TreeID uses artificial intelligence to identify trees and the results are not guaranteed to be 100% accurate. AI-generated identifications should be treated as best-effort suggestions. Do not rely solely on TreeID for: determining whether a plant is safe to consume; making medical or health-related decisions about plants; professional arboricultural or botanical assessments; or any decision where incorrect identification could cause harm. Always consult a qualified botanist or arborist for professional identification needs.
Free Tier: TreeID offers a free tier with up to 3 free identifications total on a device.
Pro Subscription: TreeID Pro is available as auto-renewable weekly and yearly subscriptions. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings.
You agree not to: use the App for any unlawful purpose; attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App; use automated scripts or bots to access the service; interfere with or disrupt the App's servers or networks; or circumvent rate limits or usage restrictions.
The App, including its design, features, content, and code, is owned by MapleByte and protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the App.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or us.
We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
