Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Rock & Stone Identifier mobile application ("App") operated by MapleByte ("we", "our", or "us").
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Rock & Stone Identifier is an AI-powered identification application that lets users photograph rocks, minerals, crystals, and gemstones and receive educational information such as likely names, physical properties, composition clues, formation notes, usage notes, and collection details.
AI-generated identification results are best-effort suggestions and are not guaranteed to be accurate. Do not rely solely on the App for professional geology, gemology, mining, construction, legal, medical, environmental, or safety decisions. The App is not a laboratory test and cannot confirm authenticity, hazardous materials, industrial contaminants, asbestos, toxicity, or market value.
The App may offer a limited free tier and optional Pro subscriptions. Subscription payment is charged to your Apple ID account. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings.
You agree not to use the App for unlawful purposes, to reverse engineer or tamper with the App, to automate or abuse the service, to bypass usage limits, or to interfere with the App's servers, networks, or payment systems.
The App, including its design, content, features, and code, is owned by MapleByte and protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MapleByte is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the App.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
We may suspend or terminate access to the App at any time if we believe your conduct violates these Terms or harms other users, the service, or MapleByte.
We may modify these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
