How accurate is Rock & Stone Identifier?

The App uses AI vision to suggest likely rocks, minerals, crystals, and gemstones. Results are educational and best-effort, not lab-confirmed.

Can the App tell if a stone is real or valuable?

No. The App is not an authenticity test, appraisal tool, or valuation service. It cannot replace professional gemological testing.

What details can I see after a scan?

Results may include likely name, confidence, physical properties, chemical clues, formation, age range, usage, similar examples, and field notes when available.

How do I restore my subscription?

Open the App, go to Settings, and tap Restore Purchases. Use the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.

How do I cancel my subscription?

On iPhone, open Settings, tap your Apple ID, then Subscriptions. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period.

Are my photos stored?

Photos are sent for identification and are not permanently stored on our servers. Saved scan history is stored locally on your device. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Does identification work offline?

Identification requires internet access because AI processing happens through our backend. Saved collection entries can be viewed from your device.
