Toy Value Scanner ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you use the Toy Value Scanner mobile application ("App").
Photos and Images: When you scan a toy or collectible, you take or select a photo. The image is sent to our backend and AI processing providers for identification and valuation context. We do not permanently store your photos on our servers.
Scan History: Identification results, saved scans, and value snapshots are stored locally on your device unless you choose to share them.
Usage Analytics: We may collect limited analytics such as app opens, feature usage, scan counts, and crash information to improve reliability and user experience.
Subscription Information: If you purchase Pro, payment is handled by Apple through the App Store. Subscription entitlement status may be managed through RevenueCat. We do not collect or store your credit card number.
Photos and request data may be sent to our backend API and third-party AI providers solely to generate identification results. Value lookups may use market-data providers such as PriceCharting when a scan contains enough collector context. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
Saved scan history is stored locally on your device. Network communication with our API uses HTTPS encryption. No method of transmission or storage is perfect, but we use reasonable safeguards.
The App requests access to your camera and photo library so you can capture or select images for scanning. You can revoke these permissions at any time in your device settings.
The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
You can delete saved scans inside the App or remove local data by uninstalling the App. You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID account settings.
