Signature ("we", "our", or "us") is a MapleByte app for scanning, signing, editing, compressing, and sharing PDF documents. This Privacy Policy explains what information is handled when you use the Signature mobile application ("App").

1. Information We Handle

Documents, PDFs, images, signatures, and stamps: You may import PDFs, scan pages, take photos, choose images from your photo library, draw signatures, create typed signatures, scan handwritten signatures, and create stamps. These items are processed on your device for the App's document workflows.

Local project data: Saved projects, thumbnails, signature images, stamp images, edit state, language settings, and app preferences are stored locally on your device.

Camera and photo library access: Signature asks for camera access to scan documents, pages, signatures, and stamps. It asks for photo library access so you can import images. These permissions can be changed in iOS Settings.

Purchase and subscription information: If you purchase Signature Pro, Apple processes payment through the App Store. RevenueCat may process subscription status, entitlement state, product identifiers, and purchase validation data so the App can unlock Pro features. We do not receive your credit card number or App Store payment credentials.

Analytics and diagnostics: The App may use privacy-conscious analytics or diagnostic tools, including Mixpanel, to understand app performance, feature usage, device type, app version, locale, and crash or error conditions. We do not use analytics to collect the contents of your documents, signatures, stamps, or scanned pages.

Support messages: If you email us for support, we receive the information you choose to include in that message, such as your email address, screenshots, device details, and description of the issue.

2. How We Use Information

To provide document scanning, signature creation, PDF editing, compression, export, sharing, email, and printing workflows.
To save your projects, signatures, stamps, and preferences locally on your device.
To unlock, verify, and restore Signature Pro purchases.
To respond to support requests.
To improve reliability, performance, and product quality.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Your PDF content, scanned pages, saved signatures, and saved stamps are not uploaded to MapleByte servers for normal signing and editing workflows. Information may be processed by service providers only as needed for the App to work, including Apple for App Store payments, RevenueCat for subscription management, Mixpanel for analytics if used, and email providers when you contact support.

4. Data Storage and Security

Most Signature content is stored locally on your device. You control exported or shared files through the iOS share sheet, email, printing, or any destination you choose. We use standard platform security practices and encrypted network connections where the App communicates with purchase, analytics, or support services.

5. Your Choices

You can delete local projects, signatures, and stamps inside the App where those controls are available.
You can revoke camera or photo library access in iOS Settings.
You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID subscription settings.
You can uninstall the App to remove locally stored app data from your device.

6. Children's Privacy

Signature is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when this page was most recently changed.
