Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the GameMaps mobile application ("App") operated by MapleByte ("we", "our", or "us").
By downloading, installing, or utilizing the GameMaps App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use the App.
GameMaps is an unofficial companion utility providing interactive map interfaces, completion trackers, checklists, and note-taking services for various video games. The App is created solely for informational, reference, and educational purposes.
GameMaps is an unofficial application. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with the developers or publishers of any games featured within the App (including but not limited to Nintendo, FromSoftware, Bethesda Softworks, Rockstar Games, etc.). All game titles, images, coordinates, map representations, and assets remain the intellectual property of their respective owners.
While we make reasonable efforts to maintain the accuracy of game maps, coordinates, secrets, and lists, in-game updates or changes may alter item locations. All content is provided "as is" for guide purposes, and we do not guarantee map precision.
You may place custom pins, map markers, routes, and text labels in the App. You remain solely responsible for the content you create. You agree not to input any offensive, unlawful, or infringing content. Your custom data is stored locally or on your private iCloud account, and you are responsible for maintaining backups.
GameMaps offers a free tier with access to select game maps and limited pins. A premium Pro subscription unlocks all maps, unlimited pins, and sync capabilities. Payment is charged via your Apple ID. Subscriptions auto-renew unless turned off at least 24 hours prior to renewal. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your iOS device settings.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MapleByte and its founders shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the App or any inaccuracies in the maps or checklists.
