GameMaps ("we", "our", or "us") is dedicated to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your data when you use the GameMaps mobile application ("App").
Your Maps Data: Any custom pins you drop, notes you write, or map items you mark as completed are stored directly on your device. We do not operate custom databases to store your progress. It stays private to you. If you enable iCloud sync, your map data is stored in your personal, private iCloud container managed by Apple.
Anonymous Analytics: We may collect anonymous telemetry (e.g. which maps are viewed, which features are most used, and crash diagnostics) to help us find bugs and improve app performance. This data is strictly aggregated and cannot be used to identify you.
Subscriptions & Payments: If you purchase a premium subscription, payment transactions are processed entirely by Apple via the App Store. We do not collect or store credit card details or billing information.
Because your maps data is stored locally on your device or in your personal iCloud container, we have no access to it. Your map pins and completion checklists are under your full control. All communication between the App and Apple's iCloud services is encrypted and secured by Apple.
We do not share, sell, or lease your personal information. We use Apple's built-in frameworks for iCloud sync and App Store purchases, which are governed by Apple's own privacy policy.
GameMaps does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. If you believe any anonymous diagnostics could somehow contain sensitive details, please reach out to us, and we will purge the telemetry.
You have absolute control over your data. You can delete all your custom markers, notes, and checklist history by clearing data inside the App settings or by deleting the App from your device.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" timestamp at the top of the page will be updated accordingly.
