Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the DeepSearch services operated by MapleByte ("we", "our", or "us").

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using DeepSearch, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access the service.

2. Description of Service

DeepSearch provides users with access to an advanced, semantic, and AI-assisted search utility that queries open public sources, archives, and academic repositories. The service requires no login or account registration. The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

3. Disclaimer - Not a Background Check Service

DeepSearch is NOT a consumer reporting agency as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). DeepSearch searches public sources for general research and informational purposes. It is not a legal background check, tenant screening, or credit evaluation service. You may not use DeepSearch to conduct background checks on individuals for employment, tenant screening, credit evaluation, or any purpose governed by the FCRA.

DeepSearch uses artificial intelligence to compile, synthesize, and retrieve search answers. While we strive to source information from verifiable public sources, we cannot guarantee the complete accuracy, truthfulness, or completeness of any synthesized summary. You are responsible for verifying critical facts, research claims, or legal/medical information retrieved through the search engine.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the service for any illegal purposes or to:

Exceed query rate limits or attempt automated scraping of the DeepSearch API interface
Distribute malware or attempt to compromise server infrastructure
Submit prompt injection queries designed to disrupt or exploit the underlying search AI models

5. Intellectual Property

All software, brand icons, UI designs, and synthesis pipelines are the intellectual property of MapleByte. You are granted a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to access the search portal for your informational and research purposes.

6. Limitation of Liability

Under no circumstances shall MapleByte be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the search tool or rely on its results.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the search utility after changes indicates acceptance of the updated terms.
